Whew!

Eric | December 7th, 2005 | 8:51 pm

Searing heatMan is it hot today. Like, Africa hot. Topped out, as near as I can tell, at 104°F. Even the wind felt like a blast from a furnace. If you were unlucky enough not to be able to find some shade, the sun burned down on you like the fire of a thousand, well… suns actually. Within seconds the wire frame on my sunglasses became almost too hot to touch. This is the first really hot day we have had here in Sydney and I understand it is going to get even hotter. According to my understanding of physics, that’s just not possible – but I am assured that it is true. The heat is like normal hot weather that has been screwed with on a dare.

At least the flat has A/C.
