So, since the Bogong infestation we had earlier in our stay, we have been blessed with one or two of them about every day. Nothing bad, as all they do is sit there and occasionally do a fly-by to your head. This morning, however, Angela found a huge one in the bathroom. I was able to take a picture of it before it flew away and then went into the bedroom and under the bed (where I assume it is to this moment).

As you can see this thing is huge. Pretty, but huge.

Just to give all you doubters out there some scale, I created a chart that is accurate to within a few inches:

Yes, they really are that big.

And I am told that this huge Bogong is not as big as they can get. I believe the size up from this one is “Mothra”.
