So, after 7 months and lots of searching, I finally landed a job. I was fortunate enough to have been at the right place at the right time to take advantage of a great opportunity. Angela has been working with a company that has embraced design as a method for improving their business and they wanted to build that skill set internally. My name was brought up as a potential candidate, and after several interviews and joining the group on their yearly team-building event, they offered me a position.

I am now officially the new Manager of Product and Process Design. I’ll be doing a lot of the same things that Angela has been working on. So far it has been a great experience and everyone in the office is fantastic. I even got to go to Melbourne for a few days last week (nice town, by the way).

Anyway, it’s good to be working again. Time off is great and everything, but way too boring when it goes on too long…
